Chicago based electro-acoustic trio 'Bending the Map"feature the mallet percussion and keyboards of Ray Coyle, the drums/percussion of Christopher Bruce and the live electronic manipulations of Spacebrewer.
Bending the Map stretches out into minimalism, ambient music and micro-improv territory. While some pieces are closer to the hypnotic vibrations of experimaental psychadelic rock, most of B.t.M's sound is an extension of great improvising electro-acousticians like MEV and AMM.
